Areti and Dimitri learned it from their Greek immigrant families: decency, dignity, respect, honesty, hospitality, generosity, kindness, empathy, courage, humility, compassion and love, braided together with duty and personal sacrifice.
From a young age, Areti has always adored children. The greatest joy and most fulfilling chapter of her life began when she became a mother to her daughter, Michaela.
Kids Childcare + Preschool was built from that love, but also from a very clear belief: families should never have to compromise when it comes to the care, education, nutrition, hygiene and safety of their children.
Today, Areti leads the entire organization and team across both campuses. She sets the standards, builds the culture around them, and works every day to ensure those standards are not simply written down, but lived in every classroom, every meal, every interaction and every decision the organization makes.
Dimitri brings a background in leadership, communications, public service and business to Kids Childcare + Preschool.
As a father himself, Dimitri has always believed that children deserve environments that are safe, beautiful, nurturing and built to the highest possible standards.
Throughout his career, Dimitri has held senior leadership roles in government, business, international organizations and community institutions. That experience has reinforced his belief that strong organizations are built through clear standards, accountability and a relentless focus on quality.
